As soon as I saw how easy it is to pop off the ignition wires, I got a ba ttery shutoff.

The Crown Vic has giant carpeted fiberboard panels that close off the area under the dash. Only the pedals show. There’s a crapton of stuff under there, vacu um lines and actuators, wires, ducts, relays, etc. All of it hidden and protected.
